Blizzard Beach

Featuring huge and fast waterslides as well as attractions for younger kids, Blizzard Beach offers wet and wild entertainment for the whole family. The story behind Blizzard Beach goes that in a freaky weather event, a blizzard hit Florida and a ski resort was built, but then the snow started melting and an alligator discovered he could turn the resort into a water park. Grab onto your raft and enjoy the waves in the one-acre Melt-Away Bay wave pool. Zip down the 90-foot-tall Slush Gusher slide, which takes you over two humps down Mount Gushmore. The Summit Plummet attraction, the world's tallest and fastest free-fall body slide, offers a 12-story drop down into a darkened tunnel where riders achieve speeds of 50 to 60 miles per hour. For a ride the family can enjoy together, try Teamboat Springs, a family raft ride down a huge slide featuring a series of waterfalls.

Typhoon Lagoon

With grass huts, palm trees and a water-gushing volcano that erupts every 30 minutes, Typhoon Lagoon sets the scene for a rollicking water park experience your family will love. Speed down a white water slide on a multi-rider raft on the Crush 'n' Gusher, a collection of three waterslides with lots of sharp turns and fast drops sure to keep your heart pounding. Watch a cave tunnel zip by as you travel down Keelhaul Falls through caverns and waterfalls before emerging back outside into a sparkling pool. Go on a snorkeling adventure in Shark Reef, where you and your family can swim amongst leopard and bonnethead sharks, as well as stingrays and tropical fish, all surrounded by colorful coral reef. For younger children, Ketchakiddee Creek offers small waterslides, fountains, waterfalls and a mini rapids ride. Need a break from all the action? Sandy White Beach provides a sunny haven complete with palm trees and hammocks, perfect for a rest between the water park's fun attractions.
