How far is the airport from the hotel?
The hotel is approximately 17.2 miles away from the Orlando International Airport (MCO).
How close is the hotel to major attractions?
The hotel is located 8.1 miles from Universal Orlando®, 4.2 miles from Sea World®, and 4.5 miles from the Walt Disney World®.
Is smoking permitted at the hotel?
Yes, we have specific locations around the hotel where smoking is permitted.
Can I purchase theme park tickets at the hotel?
Yes, you may purchase a wide variety of multi-day theme park tickets through an independent guest’s service desk located in the lobby of the hotel. We also have an electronic concierge where you can purchase tickets after hours.
Is transportation available to the airport and area attractions?
The Holiday Inn Resort Orlando Lake Buena Vista offers complimentary scheduled shuttle service to Walt Disney World® Resort ticket and Transportation Center, Sea World, as well as Universal Orlando®. Please see our pickup and drop off times under the amenities tab. Unfortunately, we do not offer transportation to and from the Airport at this time.
Are there any ATM machines in the hotel?
Yes. There is an ATM machine located in the lobby of the hotel.
Does the hotel offer luggage storage?
Yes. The hotel offers same day of check in or check out for storing guest luggage. No overnight storage allowed. Hotel holds the right to dispose of any luggage that is not claimed by guest and/or left overnight.
Can I send or receive merchandise to my hotel room?
Guests at the Holiday Inn Resort Orlando can receive packages and send packages at no cost however the guest must pick up the package at the front desk with a form of I.D. Please call the front desk at 407-239-4500 for additional details.
Are pets permitted in the hotel?
Yes, pets are permitted at the hotel. There is a fee of $50 for up to 4 days and $10 per day after that for pets 50 lbs. or less. Pets over 50 lbs. will be $75 up to 4 days and $10 per day after that. Only 2 pets per room and we do not permit snakes, reptiles or birds.
Does the hotel offer non-smoking or ADA-compliant rooms?
All our rooms are non-smoking and yes, our hotel offers ADA rooms.
Do you have rooms with refrigerators or microwaves?
Yes, all of our rooms include free in room microwave, coffee maker (Keurig), and refrigerators. In addition, we offer iron, ironing-board, tv, inside room safe and radio alarm clock.
Does the hotel provide parking?
Yes, onsite parking is available to all guests as it is included in the resort fee.
Are safes available in-room?
Yes. Safes are available in room.
Does the hotel have laundry facilities and offer dry cleaning services?
Yes, the hotel offers self-serve laundry facilities in designated areas. We also offer cleaning services where you can drop off your items at the front desk and we will take care of the rest.
Does the hotel have a resort fee?
Yes. The resort fee is $21.95+ tax and is covers all amenities in the hotel.
Is there a fitness center on property?
Yes. We have a 24-hr. fitness center available for all inhouse guest.
Does the hotel offer business services?
A business center in the lobby area is available with a complimentary computer workstation. Stay connected, check your e-mails or print your boarding pass.
Does the hotel offer WI-FI?
WI-FI is available free of charge in all guestrooms and throughout the hotel.
What is your cancellation policy?
Reservations may be cancelled up to 72 hours prior to arrival without penalty. Cancellations made within 72 hours of arrival are subject to a one night plus applicable tax fee.
How do I guarantee my reservation?
All reservations must be guaranteed with a major credit card
What credit cards or currency is accepted?
The hotel currently accepts Visa, Master Card, American Express, Discover and Diners Club International. Cash payments must be made in US Currency.
What are check-in and check-out times?
Check-in is available at 3:00p.m. and check-out is by 11:00a.m. Early check in and late check-out is available upon request and subject to availability.
Are connecting rooms available?
Connecting rooms are available but subject to availability.
What is the maximum capacity to a room?
King Standard rooms are limited to 2 guests. King Deluxe rooms limited to 3 guests. Queen Standard rooms to 4 guests, and Queen Deluxe for up to 5 guests. Kid Suite with 1 bunkbed is limited to 5 guest, Kid suite with 2 bunk beds is limited to 6 guests.
Do you offer complimentary breakfast?
No, we do not offer complimentary breakfast, however, we have an onsite Applebee’s that is open for breakfast starting at 6:30am.
What dining options are located nearby?
There is a variety of dining options available by walking distance or a short drive away. We have an Applebee’s right on property where kids 12 and under eat free from the kid’s menu. Below are a few more suggestions:
